Public engagement session - Sunday 13th October 2024

The parish council are inviting you to a public engagement session to show what the developers are considering for the land west of the village.

Sunday 13th October from 10am to 4pm.

We have invited the consortium of developers to be available to answer questions and queries. The parish members feel that it is time to make the village aware of what may be coming.

Developing the Brief…assuming that it is 4,000-5,000 homes The site provides 290 hectares in total, 120 of which would be dedicated to dwellings and streetscape, and 30 hectares dedicated to private gardens. The infrastructure required would cover around 45 hectare including a bypass option.

Final housing numbers will be established by Blaby District Council's Local Plan, which is still progressing.
